The [[Private Investigator]] has asked the party to meet at a bar downtown.
There, Chase will catch the party up on his current investigation.
Now the cult wants to get them out of the way.
Chase jumps in, helping the players get away.
- Chase travelled here from England.
- He was following a shipment of unknown destination from London to here.
- He believes the shipment contains glass-like statues of mystic properties.
- His trail ran cold somewhere in the city.
- He believes the shipment reached its goal somewhere here, and is already being used.
Chase knows for certain that the shipment entered the city at the [[Freight Station]] near the edge of town. The station in question also has a direct line to the factory, which may connect the shipment to the situation at the factory, and the missing factory workers.
With hesitation, Chase also asks the party's help for a more personal goal.
When he was still in England he used to work with a partner. After taking on this case his partner, as well as the client, were killed. Chase would like to ensure that the killer is taken care of before proceeding with the investigation.

>I have reason to believe that bastard's laying low in a town house not far from here. I don't know how prepared he is, so I'd like to have some one, or two, watching my back.
>If you don't want to get involved I fully understand off course, say the word and I won't mention it again.
If the party decides to help Chase with his personal venture, that will take them to [[Valens' Town House]].
