A [history professor](Characters/Geneviere.md) from Amsterdam comes into possession of a statue found during a police investigation into a murderous cult. A factory on the edge of town is building an army of horrors. A professor of history is writing words that should not be read. Deep underground, possibly in another dimension, a war is brewing between traders of artefacts.
The professor calls for the expertise of scholars of the occult from all over the country.
Of course, such a call in such times also attracts the interest of less peaceful parties.
Among the invitees are yourselves. From a university in Amsterdam to the front lines to a cultist stronghold, you struggle unravel the secret underworlds of the first world war.
